About Me:

Douglas began preaching when he was 19 years old in Tyler Texas and has been in ministry all of his life.  He has been blessed to see the hand of God move and looks forward to ministering to the brokenhearted, lending his heart and leading those towards the peace of God.  The work that God has begun has not diminished, as he teaches the Straight-Talk @ 9am each Sunday morning in the Sanctuary.  He continues to seek God's will and his place in the race that God has set before him.

Family:

After years in the ministry, raising three young boys into adulthood, Doug's life went ‘topsy-turvey’.  After a year of praying and seeking, he was introduced to Family Cathedral and met a single woman who worked in this ministry.  A woman with her heart set to minister the love of God, seeking His desires for her life.  They were married seven months later on 07.07.07 @ 7:07.

Three of his sons work in the ministry, two in praise and worship, one on the guitar and the other on drums and keyboard.  His eldest son has been an asset in trouble shooting and repairing IT problems at the church.  It is a blessing to see that they all have the call of God of their lives and continue to seek and walk in His ways.
